Nat used to say:
"These are our only approved suppliers! Our approval means that we chose them based upon their reputation, that they agreed to make parts (or supply materials) only to our specifications, that we supplied the plugs (in the case of Feather Lite), that we paid for all or part of the tooling, that we approved their parts, and that we used them in our plans model airplane, which has been flying for 16 months and has logged approx. 150 flight hours. It has been and will continue to be our practice to recommend only those parts which we have inspected and used in a flying airplane. We have received good reports on the Mark IV cowlings supplied by Feather Lite. Several builders have called to say that they fit perfectly! This was encouraging news for us because it means that our Mark IV builders have been able to duplicate our plans model, and that Feather Lite has been able to perfectly duplicate our plans model cowlings."
However, at this point (as of 11/17/2010) there doesn't seem to be anyone to make the decision as to who an "approved" supplier is, so I'm going to make the decisions until someone tells me otherwise.
