Cozy MKIV Builder's Log Book - April, 2002

4/6/02
  1. Clean up - prep for wing/cowl attach
  2. Attach left wing
  3. Finish upper and lower cowling attach to wing
  4. Install left strobe/Nav. light on wingtip
  5. Install rudder and aileron and hardware
  6. Install rudder cable

4/7/02
  1. Apply "N83MZ" to left outer winglet
  2. Finish rudder cable to pedal - need to modify brake hardware

4/13/02
  1. Finish left rudder cable/pedal installation
  2. Remove left wing
  3. Mount right wing
  4. Install right strobe/Nav. light - test
  5. Install rudder/aileron and hardware/cables - need more cable
  6. Begin right cowl/wing attach

4/14/02
  1. Install "N83MZ" on right winglet
  2. Finish cowling/wing attach
  3. Silicone strobe lights
  4. Install rudder pedal springs

4/20/02
  1. Finish rudder cable installation
  2. Take 1" out of center aileron pushrod - install quick disconnect and rivets with extra CS-181 - need hardware
  3. Grind space for bottom of control sticks in inner fuselage walls both sides - adjust control pushrods for ailerons
  4. Remove wing
  5. Attach landing brake to fuselage bottom

  1. Install engine - begin all connection installation

4/22/02
  1. Continue
2 hrs
4/27/02
  1. Continue
  2. Test fit cowlings - fit cover and mark for stitching
2 hrs
4/28/02
  1. Re-run brake lines - tighten all fittings - brakes and Parking Brake work
  2. Wire stick grips and P.T.T. switches
3 hrs
