O.K. Well, I cut out all the bulkheads out of the appropriate foam (as
well as the firewall out of the plywood). This entailed a lot of tracing
of the outlines from the plans onto the foam (including the use of a 7 year
old child and a sharp pencil), and then using a very sharp utility knife
and a long straightedge to actually cut along the outline. This is what
the bulkheads look like before:
