It's a bit technical, but there is a very good text (I think!) on aircraft
design entitled "The design of the aeroplane" (no, not misspelled - it's and
English book!) by Darrol Stinton ISBN 0-632-01877-1 published by BSP
Profesional Books.  It's available through any god bookstore in this
country.
