The only difference being that the armrests will have 1/4" foam under the vinyl for a softer feel. 2) The floor is a lightweight indoor / outdoor carpeting (brown). 3) The rest of the plane will be a brown tweed upholstery fabric, cotton batting and a backing fabric.. My wife will quilt some simple pattern to hold them all together, then I will glue it to the fuselage walls. 4) I made some seats (experimental) with 2" soft foam above 1" firm foam (like tempera foam). I made them one piece instead of the three pieces shown in the plans. I used 4 buttons on the back, and 4 buttons on the bottom to hold the fabric to the foam. I simply wrapped the fabric around the foam and glued it to the back of the hard foam. It didn't look too good until I installed the buttons - then it looked great! It was also very simple to do.
